FAQ's

Q: Do you have client car parking available?

A: Yes we do. Parking is available in the car park on level 4 of our office building. The entrance to the car park is at the base of our building at 48 Emily Place where you will see a steel gate. We will need to let you into the car park area so please call our office on 09-379 5026 to check availability and arrange client car parking.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Level 14, 48 Emily Place, Auckland Central (close to Customs Street/Shortland Street/Princes Street  -  see map)

Q: Does your firm do legal aid work?

A: Our firm does some legal aid work. We are able, subject to our other workload, to provide legal aid services in Waitangi Tribunal, Maori Land Court Matters and Civil Matters. There is an application form clients must fill out when applying for legal aid matters. Please contact our office on 09-379-5026 for more details.

Q: What work is your firm primarily focused in?

A: As a general practice firm, we are able to provide quality legal advice on a range of legal areas for the benefit of families and their small to medium businesses, and organisations in which they are involved. Please see Our Services for more details.

Q: How much do you charge for your services?

A: Our charges will vary depending on the nature of your issue. Please contact our office on 09 379 5026 with your particular issue for more information on our charges.

Q: I see that your staff have different titles such as director, associate, solicitor – who will be dealing with my file?

A: When you instruct us to act for you there will be one supervising director, and an assisting solicitor or associate that works on your file. There may be other people in the firm who will assist in your matter where necessary. This benefits you because people with the relevant experience and charge out rate will be among those working on relevant tasks, although who does what does also depend on present availability. You can be assured that when delegating work within our firm, we do so in the client’s best interests.

Q: I do not have an email or cellphone. How do I keep in contact with a member of your firm?

A: We correspond with our clients in multiple ways. If you prefer to keep in contact via phone, or documents sent via post we are more than happy to do so.

Q: I want your firm to act for me but I do not live locally– what do I do?

A: We act for clients who reside all around the country and even overseas. Please call our office to discuss how we may be of assistance to you.
