
Tesa Va'afusuaga
Tesa joined Wackrow Williams and Davies in July 2019 and was admitted to the bar a few days after joining the firm. After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland, Tesa worked at the Manukau District Court in the Family Court Registry. She later moved to Wellington where she worked at the Waitangi Tribunal as an Assistant Registrar before her secondment to the Māori Land Court Chief Judge's Chambers as Chief Judge Isaac's Executive Assistant.
Since joining the firm Tesa has been enjoying private client practice and has been working on Māori legal issues, wills, trusts and estate matters. Tesa is enthusiastic about her work and is keen to develop her skills within the areas of conveyancing, commercial law and civil litigation.
Outside of work Tesa supports the environmental mahi her whānau lead in Sāmoa and loves to go back to Sāmoa when she can. She enjoys the outdoors, working on her Sāmoan and Te Reo Māori.
